The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) is a prominent venue complex featuring the SEC Centre, which comprises five interconnected exhibition and meeting spaces, the 3,000-seat SEC Armadillo, and the SSE Hydro, a 14,300-capacity arena for concerts, sporting events, and special occasions.
During Jamiejohn’s tenure with Levy UK, he oversaw and worked with a team that drove significant growth in the business, achieving a 40% increase in a full trading year.
He introduced a range of new and exciting innovations to the SEC Campus product and improved the conversion of PBIT (Profit Before Interest and Tax) on site.
The campus regularly hosted up to 30,000 visitors, and his team was responsible for delivering multiple customer-centric concepts and experiences concurrently.
He also created and executed a holistic strategy across all areas of the business successfully.In addition to his strategic role, Jamiejohn held full P&L accountability.
These included culinary, commercial, finance, HR, and operations departments.
He also managed relationships with multiple client stakeholders, demonstrating his ability to handle complex business operations and stakeholder management
