Following the acquisition of Edinburgh-based Royal warrant caterer Heritage Portfolio by American business Centerplate, Jamiejohn joined the company.

Heritage Portfolio was a complex and prestigious business built by industry experts in the Heritage and leisure sectors of contract catering.

As Operations Director, he participated in an exciting period for the business that saw the company grow its turnover, reputation, and geographic coverage into the wider UK.

His main focus was to support the founders, provide continuity to this outstanding business, and deploy an integration/change management plan. The company believed that what made Heritage special was the values and culture embedded in the business's DNA, and the challenge was to retain this through a period of transition.

As the business became ready for growth, Jamiejohn played an instrumental role in launching the company into new territories and securing new contracts while retaining existing business.

After leading the creative efforts in several tender bids and contract wins, he was promoted to the role of Creative Director to work within the wider Centerplate family, further bridging the two brands together in their functions and creative direction.

In this period, he was able to work with full accountability and autonomy alongside peers and the UK COO across the full business
